    Scholars, the business community, not-for-profit organizations, philosophers and health care organizations have identified numerous ethical principles that should guide our ethical conduct. Most of these principles can be covered by three basic values: Utilitarianism, Individual Rights, and Distributive Justice. People from all sectors may prefer one over the others based on their own personal values, but all three can and should be used to put important or difficult ethical issues or dilemmas to the test.
