Downs and Abwender (2002) evaluated soccer players and swimmers to determine whether the routine blows to the head experienced by soccer players produced long-term neurological deficits. In the study, neurological tests were administered to mature soccer players and swimmers and the results indicated significant differences. In a similar study, a research obtained the following data. Test the null hypothesis that soccer players do not differ from swimmers in their neurological deficits. Use an independent samples t-test to test the null hypothesis and be sure to upload your excel sheet with the calculation done in excel and be sure to include a summary statement regarding what the original hypothesis was and whether it was supported (your summary statement needs to be specific (i.e. it includes the independent and dependent variables and the relationship between them).
