# Sampling Error - M&Ms

Total pieces was 57

Color Sample M & M Count Website Count (%) Sampling Error +/-
Blue 23.2% 24% .8%
Red 10.7% 13% 2.3%
Yellow 12.5% 14% 1.5%
Orange 17.9% 20% 2.1%
Green 17.9% 16% -1.9%
Brown 17.9% 13% -4.9%

I inadvertently switched the sample % with the Website % so the figures may be all wrong. I am so sorry for all you trouble. Would you mind doing this again.

Then What I really needed to be sure of was which solution is correct. I am tempted to submit all the calculations but this professor is a bit tempermental so I would be better to submit what he wants which i thought was sampling error as I have but then I found this formula which is error term. Do you know what this means?

The sampling error +/- would just be changed from negative to a positive and vice versa. But th other solutions would be incorrect. I tried to put cursor over the solution ad nothing came up.
