I obtained the Net Income for Walmart from 2001-2010 and the net income for Sears Holdings from 2006 (inception) to 2010. I correlated the two earnings and discussed the outcome. I then ran a regression against earnings with US population over age 15, S&P price earnings ratio, 10 year treasury rate and inflation rates from 2001 - 2010. The regressions are interpreted. Five references to show the source of the data used are given.
