Can a hypothesis test on a recipe for making pancakes from the recipe on the back of the Bisquick box.

Should it be based on the number of pancakes it says the recipe could make? For example, it would say that it yields 14 pancakes.

Will the recipe yield the 14 pancakes it claims it will? or If the correct amount of pancake batter is used for each pancake, then the recipe may yield 14 pancakes as stated in the recipe.

How should the numbers look in the formula for the null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis? Would the null hypothesis be rejected or accepted? Would this hypothesis take the shape of a one tail to the left or right with a 95% confidence level from the z or t distribution table.

One of the variables might be to add more milk and make thinner pancakes.
