I agree with Macionis that I = PAT does impact the environment of that society at large. We often see how this impacts counties, cultures, and societies such as here in the United States, many European countries, and random countries throughout the Middle East. More so, even countries that are considered third world still have small pockets of society that possess money and technology that could classify them in this category. Though it's not their fault, these societies are just a direct reflection of taking advantage of those assets and educational systems that are available to them.
