Essentially, qualitative triangulation focuses on the use of triangulation to evaluate multiple perspectives in regards to the same research question (Oliver-Hoyo & Allen, 2006). This allows for an abundance of data to be collected, all coming from different perspectives, in order to fully evaluate the reliability and validity of the research results being examined.
