The article clearly articulated that spirituality and leadership are linked. Different from religion, spirituality is defined in the workplace as dimensions of looking at leadership "...that can integrate character, behavior, effect on followers, and achievement of group goals" (660).
In other words, I see it as offering moral and ethical traits to amplify one's leadership and character. Likewise, it is closely defined by "Expressing support and concern for others" (675). Research further proves that it involves "Engaging in reflective practice" (678) as well as emphasizing a "closeness with God and feelings of interconnectedness with the world and living things" (656).
