You might note that this study investigates the use of psychoanalysis for an adult male with avoidant personality disorder (AVPD) for five years. Since there are currently no known systematic case studies, effectiveness studies, or even randomized control trials for psychoanalysis in the treatment of AVPD, this study is really important and unique in the field.
You might suggest how the study presents research about how psychoanalysis is applicable for clients or patients with AVD.
