As you briefly assess the factors that contribute to American Indians' and Alaskan Natives' and their much shorter than average life expectancy rates, this article was quite enlightening. The article made me have a "heart to heart" reflection on how detrimental cardiovascular disease is for these targeted populations. It also made me think of last year's season of the show, The Biggest Loser, as Jillian and Bob, the trainers, actually went to a reservation to articulate the need for health to combat heart disease, obesity, ad diabetes.

In short,the article further demonstrates how severely at risk these populations truly are. It specifies, " ...
