Family Services (FS) will help people dealing with a wide variety of life challenges. We propose to assist families, families with children who are developmentally challenged and individuals through counselling, community development, advocacy and public education programs. Our services will be available to everyone who lives or works in XXX. Our mission is to strengthened families and individuals in just and supportive communities. Our vision is to be the leader in strengthening families (e.g., two or more people living together) and communities, to be innovative, dynamic and fully involve people from diverse populations. FS will be committed to a policy of anti-oppression on the basis of ethnicity, language, race, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, income, political or religious affiliation in all aspects of its operation and at all levels of the agency.
