Government Agency: FBI

I would choose to attack the FBI intranet systems due to its impact and intent/purpose. The FBI is responsible for domestic security. The DHS, while supposedly in charge for national security is the 'bridge agency' that connects all agencies whose concerns are law enforcement and national security, thus, as an agency it is a layer above the FBI making the FBI the frontline investigating agency Federally. Therefore it is as local (due to its presence in each domestic location across the country) as it is national (because it consolidates interstate investigations). Now, FBI Director Mueller stated in 2010 that a well--planned and executed cyber attack domestically is as impactful as a bomb. Trained cyber terrorists can directly hack into FBI intranet systems to mine for important security information that they can exploit as well as to seek personal ...
