Marketing research is an important tool for a marketing manager. From the perspective of a marketing manager, marketing research can help the marketing manager develop his marketing mix. What features should be added to the product? What price would lead to how much revenue? Which channel was appropriate? Which type of messages would be most effective for the product? Overall, if marketing research is done honestly and efficiently, it is the most important tool in the hands of the marketing manager.
