Just this first area is a difficult one for businesses. It is probably fair to say that prior to gathering any statistics most businesses have an agenda or end goal in mind. Therefore the temptation to "doctor" the survey so that it spits out the desired statistics is very great.

?Protecting the privacy of those from whom statistics are gathered - Another huge temptation is to analyze those surveyed or polled and then creating marketing strategies based on those groups of individuals.
