how do you find the x and y value for this
1.)
-2x+5y=17
-3x+2y=-13
Using the addition method.
First check the coefficient of x terms.
-2 and -3 has the LCM of (-2)(-3) = 6
So multiply 3 to the first equation
-6x + 15y = 51 (1)
Multiply 2 to the second equation
-6x + 4y = -26 (2)
(1) - (2)
11y = 77
Substitute 7 for y to the first equation
So the ...
