    Given the points (3,7) and (-1, 3), find the slope of the line containing these 2 points, find the distance between these 2 points and find the midpoint.

    Equation of a Line Through 2 points : (Y-Y1)/(Y1-Y2) = (X-X1)/(x1-x2)
    : (Y-7)/(7-3)= (X-3)/(3-(-1))
    : (Y-7)/4 = (X-3)/4
    : Y-7 = X-3
    : y = X + 4 -----equation of line.

    Slope = X coefficient , therefore slope = 1

    Distance = ((Y1-Y2)^2 + (X1-X2)^2)^.5
    = (4^2 + 4^2)^.5
    = 4*1.42
    = 5.68

    Mid Point = (X1+X2)/2 , (Y1+Y2)/2
    (1,5)
