K: number of pounds of kenyan beans

The cost of Kenyan beans is $15/lb. to buy K pounds of Kenyan beans, the cost is

($15/lb) *( K lb) = $15K

I: number of pounds of Italian beans

The cost of Italian beans is $10/lb. to buy I pounds of Italian beans, the cost is

($10/lb) * (I lb) = $10I.

The total budget per week is $60.

That is:

15K + 10I = 60

3K + 2I = 12

3K = -2I + 12

K = (-2/3)I + 4
