Solution Preview
The given problem is (7x) 3 x (3y) 2
Let us analyse the problem in steps. The formula to be used is
(ab) n = a n x b n
where, a and b can be either constants (numbers) or variables (like x, y, z.....)
Let us verify this with an example.
Let a = 1, b = 2 and c = 3
(ab) n = (1 x 2) 3 = 2 3 = 2 x 2 x ...
Solution Summary
This shows how to simplify an equation with variables and powers.
