Ask Custom Question

Hello, please help with: A. I would like you to look at the variables, and find the GCF of the variables, place those letters next to the GCF of the coefficients outside of your parenthesis.

Complete the last step of the problem, and display the factored form of the expression, and provide a check, to prove your answer is correct.

Here is the problem with the factoring:

4x^2y^3 - 16xy^2 + 8x^2y

First of all, these are multiples of 4:
4*1x^2y^3 - 4*4xy^2 + 4*2x^2y

Do this and we get:
4*1x^2y^3 - 4*4xy^2 + 4*2x^2y = 4(x^2y^3 - 4y^2 + 2x^2y).
