For the problem presented #247154
The example that was given was great but am a little confuse and one of my classmates ask me the following question to help understand the answer. Can you clarify the question.
Okay, you have totally confused me now. You say, "Totally we have 4 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 9 letters
n = 9
But there are 4 repeated A's, 2 repeated B's, 2 repeated C's
p = 4, q = 2, r = 2" (Acosta, 2009)
OK, my questions are these:
1) Which explanation is your "problem/solution" exampling?
2) What do you mean by, "there are 4 repeated A's, 2 repeated B's, 2 repeated C's"? (2009) Where are they "repeated"?
3) Where did you get the "q" from in the above quoted material and the following, "n! / (p! q! r! ...)" (2009)? And,
4) What is the ellipsis for in the "n! / (p! q! r! ...)" (2009)?
