The person cannot be charged with multiple violations as the Washington State Supreme Court held that a single course of proscribed criminal conduct should not have been divided into multiple offences by the State and that doing so violated double jeopardy principles. Therefore, if a person "accidentally" picks up someone credit card and illegally uses it, which I don't believe is possible in regard to accidentally picking up a card as this is theft unless the person is returning it to the owner or to the police.
