Using lethal injections in my own personal opinion does violate the HIPPOCRATIC OATH to do no harm by doctors and is in violation of the Eighth Amendment against cruel and unusual punishment. Killing someone for killing someone else doesn't serve humanity and is a cruel form of punishment akin to barbarism. Many people differ as to whether this is true. The fact that claims have been leveled in regard to prisoners suffering as a result of botched injections into their veins only leads credence to this statement.
