Parris became involved in an affair with H.D. Thomas, who was married. H.D.'s wife became aware of H.D.'s involvement with Parris and complained to W.W. Thomas, the father of H.D. and the owner of the company. W.W. Thomas fired Sherri Parris, but did not fire or discipline H.D. Thomas because he was his son. Sherri Parris filed suit against Thomas and Thomas Contracting, alleging that her discharge was due to sex discrimination and in violation of Title VII. Will she succeed?
