The Don F. Pratt Museum was established in 1956 and is supported by the Fort Campbell Historical foundation which is a not-for-profit organization. The museum mainly focuses on the 101st Airborne Division which were dubbed the Screaming Eagles but it also has artifacts from other divisions and other important historical events from the 1940s on to the present. The main mission of the museum is to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret the history of the 101st Airborne Division and the impact that the soldiers had in World War II. Established a little more than a decade after the WWII ended, the museum has been supported by its gift shop and by teh not-for-profit Fort Campbell foundation and those who believe in the cause and the 101st Airborne Division that were instrumental in helping to end the war ...
