The Revolution had little positive impact for slaves, indentured servants, or free blacks as the majority of slaves who fought for the rebels were enslaved again once the war was over, and those that fought for the loyalists also didn't fare significantly better. The Revolutionary War wasn't about equality for all men, but only for white men, and the Constitution and Articles of Confederation were also meant only for Anglo Americans.
