Q1: What is malicious code? Malicious code is a software program, or even PART of a software program, that has evil intent from the code programmer. By evil intent, these code strings or programs are intended to cause harm to the recipient's computer system, or to divulge information back to the code originator for harmful purposes. As I mentioned, this bad code can even be inserted into a legitimate software program.
