As you select an educational setting with which you are familiar and have some knowledge of the stakeholders, I choose a junior high school where I worked for three years.
As you then select and describe a curriculum theory that might help explain how all stakeholders within that setting make decisions, I feel that Taba's Interaction Model reflects this particular learning institution because decisions seems to follow a linear pattern or flow. Because this model focuses on the value of needs analysis, the students, parents, teachers, and community members constantly completed surveys at this school in order to assess where academic needs within curriculum could be better addressed. The surveys tended to focus on voids in literary and math.
Because this model also denotes a Rational/objectives model, it characterizes the decision-making overall.
Since this theory also presents a dynamic process, not a fixed sequence, it seems to fit this school. Its elements were ...
