As a student my learning was assessed primarily through the use of tests, worksheets , written responses, essays I wrote ,homework assignments and other similar activities. I do remember some of my teachers asking me to read to them one-on one and them making some notes as I read. As I got older in school my learning was also assessed through school projects. There was the occassional collaborative group project that I participated in subjects such as science, math and reading.
