What about China...
A stronger yuan would be associated with a higher standard of living in China. Chinese firms would receive a higher price (in yuan terms) for exports, while consumers and businesses in China would pay less for imports. Goods for the US and the world economy....This improvement in the terms of trade means that incomes in China would be higher and Chinese families would be able to buy more goods and services. Sounds like there is no reason for them not to do and politics need to stay out of a decision made like this....do you think this has been something they have already tried but have been shot down?
