Introduction
Berkshire Hathaway is a multinational diversified company that deals primarily in the insurance business covering property and accidental insurance and reinsurance. It is a holding company which has its headquarters in the U.S. Apart from insurance business, it deals in retailing, apparel, providing flight and building supplies services (Selikoff, 2008). Warren Buffet, the company's CEO, in the initial years focused on making long term public investments, but later he changed this strategy and started purchasing the companies for expanding its business. The company conducts its business ethically and its values & principles are exhibited in the way employees do their work (Berkshire Hathaway profit tumbles 77 per cent, 2008, November, 8).
