1) In a heterogeneous society language barriers sometimes cause great danger to the unity of the entire society. With a language barrier, a culture does not spread with another countries culture because they the specifics of the culture cannot be communicated (Grubb, 1974). A multilingual approach can be inefficient and can prevent important interactions from taking place and get in the way of achieving key goals. This limits economic growth and diversity for both the heterogeneous societies.
