News Dashboard Monitoring was enhanced in 2008 from its original version. This application allows the customer to easily discover what is being said about their business through news captures from over 400,000 online news sources and blogs. The News Dashboard Monitoring application can be customized for each individual customer to offer the right media monitoring solution for their needs, with unlimited interactive reports, analytics, clips and more. The sources of news include blogs, magazines and newspapers, broadcast outlets and other media sites.
The application monitors the various sources for mention of the customer's organization, their clients, brands, ticker symbols, industry buzz and partners through the simple process of entering keywords. The summary is sent by email each day and is continuously updated. The clips can be searched in a myriad of ways, such as keyword, information type, geography and timeframe. The clip feature does not come with an itemized charge, thus eliminating the cost concerns that many customers might have.
The customized reports show only the features that the customer wants to see, and the graphs and charts have dynamic views for easy access to the important information.
