a. The setting is well done using the right locations for what would be considered appropriate to the storyline. It dovetails off of the history of the Knights Templar.

b. This film has the best actors Britain had to offer at the time, as the people had proven themselves as tremendous comedic talents in Monty Python's Flying Circus. The BBC loved them.
