    I have a couple of problems that I am struggling with.

    For the reaction 2NO+O2->2 NO2 what is the maximum amount (in g's) of NO2 which could be formed from 6.49g of NO and 18.8 g or O2?

    For the reaction 2CO+O2->2CO2 what is the maximum amount (in units of mol.) of CO2 which could be formed from 16.02g of CO and 1.16g of O2

    For the reaction 2CO+)2 -> 2CO2 what is the maximum amount (in g's) of CO2 which could be formed from 12.63 mol of CO and 14.17 mol of O2?

    For the reaction 2NO + O2 -> 2CO2 what is the maximum (in g's) of NO2 which could be formed from 17.52g of NO and 0.116 mol if O2?

    What is the limiting reactant when 40.5g of CuO are exposed to 2.45208g of H2 according to the following equation? Also how many g's of Cu are produced?
    CuO(s)+H2(g)->Cu(s)+ H2O(g)

    1. For the reaction 2NO+O2->2 NO2 what is the maximum amount (in g's) of NO2 which could be formed from 6.49g of NO and 18.8 g or O2?
    Solution: Molecular weight of NO = 30
    Number of moles of NO = 6.49/30 = 0.21633 moles
    Molecular weight of O2 = 32
    Number of moles of O2 = 18.8/32 = 0.5875 moles
    2 moles of NO combine with one mole of O2 to give 2 moles of NO2
    Hence 2*0.21633 = 0.43266 moles of NO would combine with 0.21633 moles of O2 to yield 0.43266 moles of NO2
    Molecular weight of NO2 = 46
    Therefore, maximum weight of NO2 formed = 0.43266*46 = 19.90 grams

    2. For the reaction 2CO+O2->2CO2 what is the maximum amount (in units of mol.) of CO2 which could be formed from ...
