Standard Addition Plot

Ask Custom Question

I am doing an experiment of absorption spectrophotometry for the analysis of zinc in commercial mouthwash. This experiment differs from others because I have to use the standard addition approach instead of calibration curves to take into account of the matrix effect. I have difficulty constructing a standard addition plot because I don't know how to extrapolate the plot and thus can not figure out the amount of zinc in mouthwash. On the attached file it is a summary of my data and I was wondering if you can show me how to construct the standard addition plot and how to determine the concentration of zinc in mouth wash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
