When a group of people works on a specific task, there usually happens to be a wide range of ideas. These ideas come from individual's knowledge and skills which they have gained from solving past situations. This creates a stimulating interaction of diverse ideas, which results in a wider range and better quality of solutions [1].
ii) Increase in taking risks:
In order to better accomplish a certain task, sometimes risk are needed to be taken and when there are a group of people rather than an individual, the risk taking increases simply because of the presence of number of individuals. The individuals feel willingness to take risks because of shared responsibility. The discussion of different points of view also helps the group to be more realistic in assessing the risks associated with particular courses of action [1].
