EBay was established in 1995 by Pierre Omidyar. It is a globally online auction website where million of buyers and sellers meet at one level. eBay's core competency is that it is the biggest online auction meeting place and has vast network as they have approximately 95 million members from various countries and eBay can reach at any place to fulfill their customer's or new user's need. EBay company's name is acknowledge by every person and this company has high market value in this industry (Choglan, Pauley, & Scott, 2005).

eBay's core competencies are related to their strategies as they have created relationships from approximately 60 websites to expand their user's base and also by increasing the products of high prices which cater to different target groups also and expand their customer base. EBay has also made their high market value by providing reliable and easy way and also innovative ways which help in fulfilling customer's need.

In eBay, customer's decisions are not held by them; therefore, only trust can be build among traders so that customer can easily do transaction with their corporation. Therefore, company has formulated feedback system to build reputation. The company has also used various technologies for their safe transaction and these measures are advertised by the organization, which helps in building trust within the users and customers (Choglan, Pauley, & Scott, 2005).
