information often do not make use of their full potential. Often this occurs because resources
for information technology staff are limited. In addition, unless organizations are in constant
contact with all stakeholders, they may fail to identify an unmet need of the various
stakeholders. A youth nonprofit organization is no different than one that serves the general
public, in terms of the various external stakeholders involved or the types of information an
automated system is utilized for. It must provide information for the population it serves,
in terms of access and how the organization works. It may also provide information about the
organization's mission or goals. In addition, many nonprofit organizations use automated
systems to track the types and numbers of clients they serve. Some may also provide common
forms and training activities for volunteer members to use.
The particular issue facing the youth nonprofit involves accessibility for a particular
group of external stakeholders. The particular group consists of financial supporters and
donors. Some have expressed the need to make donations and monetary support a much
