My results in respect to this exercise was that I found that I had a very high locus of control, due to the fact that the majority of the questions that I answered true, were those questions that described my beliefs about having control over my success in a given situation etc. I did not encounter any surprises relative to these results due to the fact that I have always thought that a person's fate generally rests in their own hands. I have also long held the belief that it is generally not productive to hold other individuals and or external circumstances responsible for an individual's difficulties in life. What it means to be internal is that an individual believes that they have a tremendously large measure of control over outcomes that are produced within their lives.
