Ask Custom Question

The word effergy is a combination of 'human effort' and 'raw energy'. In practical terms, effergy asks the question of how to automate a task or process currently performed by human efforts. For example, an automated teller machine (ATM) replaced or supported the efforts of human tellers with electric power. In other words, tellers' efforts are offered by a machine that operates on electric energy. For the consumer, the utility is the convenience of accessing a teller beyond business hours as well as the speed of accessing cash or completing other transactions without waiting in long lines.
