Nonprofit interview questions

1. What are your primary needs for fundraising?
We use fundraising to help cover the program costs and overhead for our organization. A good portion of our budget (23%) is strictly for food purchases. This is to purchase fresh produce, vegetables, and stables for the supplemental groceries we provide. Another 10% of the budget needs is for transportation, which is fuel, registration, maintenance. We also spend approximately 6% on fundraising itself. The other major expense is for payroll and benefits, which is about 42%. Again, we don't have a lot of online fundraising we actually do. We are move in that direction, but aren't there yet.

5. Has the implementation of online fundraising platforms like Kickstarter and GoFundMe affected your fundraising ability?
We haven't seen any impact because of these. We are looking into creating our platform for online food drives and ...
