The Triangle Solutions product that we intend to launch is a range of machine tools. The reason for this is that machine tools form an important component of the US defense base (Bloom. J, 1983), . The US defense industry is a huge buyer of machine tools and the government wants the domestic machine tool industry to be developed very well. When discussing machine tools with the military goods makers and other defense purchasers. They felt that there was a gap in the basic machine tools supply in the USA. This gap has taken place because of several reasons . There was a fall in the demand for machine tools in 1981-1983 after which several local machine tool makers closed their operations. This lacuna was taken over by Japanese machine tool makers that rushed in with their products. At that time the dollar was very expensive.
