I Current situation:

A. Current Performance
The current performance of Google is satisfactory. Its revenues are increasing mainly through the sale of advertisements. It is also making a large investment in R&D. It has launched several new products and is continuing to improve its search engine. However, there are several flaws in the search engine. Its competitors like MSN do not have a strong presence as of now.
B. Strategic Posture
1. Mission: To organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.
2. Objectives: To provide the perfect search engine. The goal is to provide a much higher level of service to all those who seek information, from any place in the world. For this objective Google has innovated, made extensive use of technology, provided fast, accurate and easy to use search engine that can be accessed from anywhere.
3. Strategies: Differentiate its search engine through speed, ease of use and access.
It has been acquiring properties where it can show is ads.
It creates similar relevance so that the customers pay attention to the ads.
Information about searches, purchases and sites visited is orchestrated to steam related ads to the customer.
4. Policies:
To focus on the user, keep the interface clear and simple, to do search really well, doing the search fast, to provide answers quickly, allow democracy, make money without doing evil, delivering more than expected, being informal, serve the need for information and enable access to information. www.google.com
