It would be feasible to expand because there is a demand for several products hat that the family owned sporting store is selling. The market research carried out by our team shows that there is demand for sporting goods, athletic apparel, outerwear, sportswear, certain types of athletic shoes, some categories of outdoor equipment and fitness equipment. The family owned sporting store is meeting some of the demand for sporting goods. However, there is unsatisfied demand and the local persons are purchasing goods over the internet or from other towns. This demand would be satisfied if our store expanded also. This expansion will increase the revenues and profits of our store and so it should expand.

2) How you would deal with the backlash of your store possibly shutting down a family owned business. How would you save the stores reputation?
There are two factors related to the backlash of the store possibly shutting down a family business. First, it is currently well known in the area that the family owned business is closing because of financial problems being faced by the family. This information is widely known locally and will prevent a backlash. The second factor is that your store will possibly provide employment to some of the local employees that would be laid off by the closure of the family store and this will improve the image of the store.
