Yukl (2006) defines "leadership as having the capabilities and aptitude to influence workers in the direction of a certain set of organizational objectives and goals." In influencing an organization a leader should initially comprehend his or her personality traits and leadership styles. A person must be aware of his or her ideas and perceptions prior to satisfactorily leading individuals to meet the organization's vision and goals. Robbins and Judge (2007) state that "individuals may have a highly analytical mind, a compelling vision, outstanding training, and have great ideas but still may not be or become a great leader.
