Some of the reasons why there is optimism for continued union success include job protection, wage protection, and civil rights for the worker protection. All of these reasons are critical issues that will keep unions around. Workers need be protected from companies, in general. While upper management continues to receive increases on an annual basis, all workers less than management levels are not receiving fair pay and/or annual increases.
