The term Transformational Leadership was coined by Bass in 1985. Bass constructed six factors of leadership which comprised transformational leadership. These factors are 1. Charisma, 2, intellectual stimulation, 3. Individualized consideration, 4. Contingent reward, 5. Management-by-exception, and 6. Laissez-faire.
