The technological environment that dominates business also requires forensic accountants to engage in new practices such as being able to develop income forecasts, which are used by forensic accountants to identify digital information that has been manipulated by the criminals and fraudsters to establish a better perspective of the ability for fraud to occur through cyberattacks and other 21st century fraud techniques that are uniquely designed to detect fraud that occurs as a result of computer fraud.
