(a) Lesson 1: Question guide the process of critical and creative thinking; and they work together

College success involves a combination of critical and creative thinking, which includes and goes beyond memorizing and retaining information. Perhaps, learning that you could use questions to inform this process is a valuable lesson, within this domain. What test scores do I need in Biology this term? (Critical thinking) How can I earn those grades? (Creative thinking) If the answer does not come immediately, then other questions guide the process of discover. Like any part of thinking, it is important to understand that asking questions if not a straightforward process. Asking the right question is also important.

What am I trying to accomplish and why? This helps to formulate short-term goals, which leads to other questions. This is helpful to know in college, so a person can set SMART goals, goals that make a difference and meet your objectives. Also, knowing that the ...
