A webcst must use streaming technology to deliver the media presentation and the end user must be able to complete the entire midea transaction from within a web environment. The viewer doesn't have to wait for an entire video file to download and then launch it but rather the data from that file is streamed and can be viewed whilst it's downloading. Webcasting does away with the prohibitive costs and technical overhead of traditional broadcasting. Webcasting has a global reach.
